There are plenty of ways you can choose to hang your hand painted wooden nursery letters. Here’s some advice and some really cool ideas.
1. Hang your hand painted wooden nursery letters with ribbon. You can do this regardless of whether your hand painted wooden nursery letters are connected or individual. Hanging ribbon hangs directly over a nail. Make sure your letters are 1/4 inch thick or less in order to sustain the weight of the letters. Here are some examples:

2. Hang your Hand Painted Wooden Nursery Letters with hanging hardware. The Fairy Paintbox has two sizes of hanging hardware that fits most fonts. Don’t pick a thin font if you don’t want your hanging hardware to show a bit – hanging hardware doesn’t show at all on wider fonts. For thinner fonts, see below for information on our adhesive backing.

3. Hang Your Hand Painted Wooden Nursery Letters with Adhesive backing. Adhesive backing is good because you don’t have to put a nail in the wall. Our adhesive backing adheres to most wall textures and can be removed from the wall without damaging the wall letter OR the wall.
Once you get your wall letters, you need to figure out how to display them on the wall. Here are some cool ways other than the norm (horizontal line) to display your hand painted wall letters that our customers have come up with:
A. Hang each hand painted wooden nursery letter at a different height on the wall.

B. Hang your Hand Painted Wooden Nursery Letters in a vertical line to accent a doorway, a wall border or a window.
